Pedro de la Fuente
I am an Argentine lawyer with over 20 years of experience in the practice of corporate law, with a comprehensive approach that bridges the legal and strategic needs of organizations. Throughout my career, I have built a profile that combines a solid academic background, experience at top-tier law firms, and a permanent commitment to professional development.
I graduated as a lawyer from the Universidad Católica Argentina and obtained a Master's degree in Business Law from Universidad Austral, where I also completed a Postgraduate Degree in Patrimonial Civil Law. I supplemented my education with a continuing education program in Oil and Gas Law at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, an area that consolidated my interest in the energy and natural resources sector.
My professional development also had a significant international dimension. I participated in the 46th Academy for American and International Law at the Center for American and International Law (formerly the Southwestern Legal Foundation) and in the Summer Academy in International Law in a Changing World, a program organized by the University of Heidelberg (Germany) together with the Centro de Estudios de Derecho, Economía y Política, held in the city of Asunción, Paraguay. These experiences broadened my perspective on law in global and multidisciplinary contexts.
In recognition of my legal research work, I was distinguished by the Section on Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Infrastructure of the International Bar Association, one of the most prestigious legal organizations in the world.
I currently serve as Director of Legal Affairs at PwC Argentina, where I lead the Corporate and Business Law practice. Before joining PwC, I developed my career at some of Argentina's most renowned law firms: Basílico, Fernández Madero & Duggan; Allende & Brea; and Rattagan, Macchiavello, Arocena & Peña Robirosa S.C. That experience provided me with a solid foundation in corporate and transactional advisory work, which I now apply in my professional practice with a results-oriented approach, and pass on through my academic activities.
